SPIROGYRA-SWAN SONGS
Now being released along with other albums:
These are the songs Spirogyra did immediately after the famous 'Bells Boots & Shambles' which is generally ranked in the top ten progressive folk albums of all times.
Richard Morton Jack wrote in Record Collector whilst reviewing this album..."Heaven's knows what 'Spirogyra' would have gone on to had they continued..." Well folks they did, and this is it!!!!!!!!
It's surely destined for that same top ten. Swan Songs captures the heady optimistic spirit of the time - which is unrepeateable. It will show you exactly why they are regarded by many as one of the top prog folk bands of all times!
