The tour begins September 27th, 2008 at Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte, NC.

Also on the bill are LEAVES’ EYES and SAMAEL

About the tour, guitarist Samantha Escarbe comments, "With Fortissimo unleashed, we become ever more focussed and ready to live and breath every moment of this tour. Virgin Black, circa 2008, equals unbridled passion.

"

The band just released the album ’Requiem - Fortissimo’ (on THE END), the second instalment of a trilogy, an album that exhumes the death/doom vibe of early Paradise Lost and My Dying Bride albums.

Assaf, will you be catching one of the VB concerts (I know it is sometime off yet)? I cannot recommend enough that people try see one of those shows. They have been touring 'round Australia for some years, with little success, they seem more widely know in Europe. Last year they opened for Arcturus and the crowd were pretty much dead :( Personally I thought they blew Arcturus away.
