He was great folk singer, and worked on WYWH with PF. Is he folk-prog, in your opinion?

We've done this one before.

Archetypal 60/70's British folk singer/protest singer - check out his  BBC Tapes (what,  6 volumes released by Science Friction label), you are hard pressed to heard any prog on them. The man was happiest in folk clubs than on the stage of some rock venue. Prog only if we are being very sloppy with our definitions.  Where do you fit in John Martyn, Al Stewart, Bert Jansch, John Renbourne, Richard Thompson etc.?

Absolutely love his work, but never considered it prog. Epic, but not prog.
