Maybeshewill is a post-rock/electronic band from the United Kingdom. These guys play in the direction of modern electronic post-rock, very similar in sound to 65daysofstatic. These two bands play almost equally, so I suppose Maybeshewill deserves a place in PA just like 65daysofstatic.

Here what Drowned in Sound writes about Msw:
"Maybeshewill sound like Mogwai would if the latter had ever found love in an arthouse cinema. And then were beaten around the head with a keyboard."

RockFood Fanzine writes:
"Maybeshewill combine instrumental post-rock with uh, slammin’ beats, and as a result are like all the soundtracks of all of your favourite films at once, but with more butterflies and naked ladies."

Msw released their magnificent "Japanese Spy Trascript" EP in 2006.
Here what Nothingatall.net tells us about the EP:
"Four tracks and a lot of noise, this four-piece from Nottingham/Leicester have created quite a storm in and around their local haunts. Blending metal and post-rock with Squarepusher-like beats and samples, Maybeshewill were in quite a position, yet at the moment they are no more or at least on hiatus. Still, this release, even if it’s their only one, is a nice little document of their short but intense time."

"Not For The Want Of Trying", their brand new album, will see a release in early May 2008.

I'll alert the post-rock team, Paper Champion.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

They get my vote for addition. Love the energy and they're not too far away from 65daysofstatic (not even in writing their name!).
