HI PROG FRIENDS, THIS IS CÉSAR INCA.

I’d like to propose the entry of Peruvian avant-garde duo MUSEO HETERODOXO. Their music is a free-from experimental rock based on musique concrete, contemporary chamber and rock in opposition: the members are guitarist Marco Antonio Villa-Lobos and drummer/percussionist Adrián Arguedas. Their album “De los Brujos, Magos y Alquimistas” is a compendium of pure, visceral madness, whose flux is spontaneously controlled and arranged in a musical context friendly with the most bizarre side or prog rock. At times you can also notice some family resemblance with the deconstructive side of jam bands such as early Guru Guru and Tangerine Dream at their spaciest, or the anarchistic side of “Ummagumma”-era PF.

Bizarre beyond words, weird indeed, yet adventurous enough as to stay apart from your regular rock (even your regular experimental rock), therefore, making sense in the Archives. Extracts from the four very long tracks of the album can be heard at:   http://www.myspace.com/museoheterodoxo.com.pe - http://www.myspace.com/museoheterodoxo.com.pe

How does it sound to you? Psychedelic/space-rock? RIO/Avant-prog? This peculiar style can only fit either of these two categories.

   Kind regards.

That link wasn't working for me, so I just did a search for the myspace page:  http://www.myspace.com/museoheterodoxope - http://www.myspace.com/museoheterodoxope

I don't know where this kind of experimental music might fit (and having problems with myspace seizing my computer so I can't listen properly -- I really need more ram).

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.
