A band that garners little talk here, so lets start some.

I recently got ahold of the Sand and Mercury- The Centery Media Years box set and its simply supurb. Their music isnt particularly technical or complex, but it is very atmospheric and can be simply beatuful. I fined the How to Measure a Planet? and If_Then_Else albums to be their best so far.

I've appreciated them before and I will appreciate them again.  if_then_else was the first album of theirs that I heard, and I pretty much fell in love with Anneke right then and there.

Are they continuing?  Have they found another singer?  How about Anneke's solo career, any news of that?

I know what you mean about Aneeke, her voice is just gorgeous. I only have How to Measure a Planet but I intend on getting more very soon.

As for Aneeke's solo career check out this..........

Acording to their website, they've been working on a new album since the start of the year with several vocalists (possibly going back to having two vocalists like on their first two albums?) of which they are going to make their choice from. They expect to release the album spring next year, and they say it will be heavier than Home was.

Been following them since Always (yes, their doom-death era and a great album at that).
As for the post-doom-death era albums, How To Measure A Planet is my favourite followed by Mandylion.
They know how to capture an essence, an atmosphere that's both relaxing and moving. Anneke's voice is sublime to my ears. I'm not  particularly excited about Agua de Annique's music, but her voice is worth the listen.
