If you like electric violin check out Jerry Goodman (the violinist who preceded Jean-Luc Ponty) in the Mahavishnu Orchestra. Also checkout Michal Urbaniak. |

All of Ponty's albums around that period are top notch. If you want to try something really interesting (if it's still available), Jazz Violin Summit with Stephane Grappelli.
