I noticed John Zorn was on here and was thinking that his project Painkiller should be here as well. I think they would fit in well in the avant category. Though it's different from his solo work that is on the site, Painkiller is extremely inventive and original music, though like much of Zorn's work it takes a very open mind to appreciate. I don't know if they've been considered before, but like I said, I think they could fit in well in the avant category with their combination of free jazz and extreme metal.

I think Painkiller's albums are listed under Zorn's name (like with Naked City and Masada's albums).  If not, I'll add them this weekend.

I looked but I didn't find them (though that may be hard to do considering all his albums.) I saw Naked City and Masada listed but didn't see the Painkiller albums. Adding them under Zorn's name would be a good idea too, more people would probably find them that way.

Agreed. I'm not sure that all of Painkiller's releases belong here, but Execution Ground is essential listening for any Zeuhl/RIO/Avant head.

They're still not there, that's quite a long weekend. ;-)
