PA featured artist of the month is EDENSONG. They are actively promoting their new album 2008 "The Fruit Fallen".

Here's an introduction text:

The Fruit Fallen" is the debut album from New York based progressive rock band Edensong. Released in June 2008, it has garnered rave reviews throughout the globe, being called "Brilliant!," "Intelligent, Modern Prog" and a "BUY OR DIE!" release. "The Fruit Fallen" is the brainchild of singer/guitarist James Byron Schoen, but the result of the tireless contributions of many. The album blends elements of metal, folk, classical, flamenco, electronica, and other world music into a style that, while bearing traces of its influences, is truly original. Clocking in at over 70 minutes of music, "The Fruit Fallen" is comprised of eight(?) balanced compositions. Although the album retains an overall vibe, each song is a self-contained work and a unique musical experience. Look for Edensong's return to the stage in 2009 with a special performance at Pittsburgh's 3RP: Three Rivers Progressive Rock Festival.

I'll start by saying that I have had The Fallen Spirit on a pretty regular rotation, or at least as regular as my rotations get, and I enjoy this album quite a lot.  Hopefully, my PA comrades will also be able to find some wonderful listening moments with this album.  Nice choice Max!

See below, that man knows what he is talking about.Smile

I included them here out of unsigned when the album was released - a great band, a great album. And James Schoen is a great guy to interact with! Good to see them as featured artists, especially now that they have a new line up for touring!!!

Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! The featured artist spot hits the spot once more. So now it's batting .666 .
Good idea Max. Hit or miss, it's a great way to expose new acts. 12 opportunities a year, eh.

Wow! I know i'm very late on this one, but all the samples i've heard sound beautiful. My "to buy list" is pretty backed  up, but i'm surely gonna try and get this sometime before the end of the year.

This "Featured Artist of the Month" is a great idea Smile

I finally listened to the samples but the way all these new guys have to stick metal riffs in where they just don't jive with the piece and clash with created moods just baffles me.
