I'm here to suggest PLoZ for addition in RIO. They are a new young band from Québec who have only one album out : Écorche à Blanc. I think they're undoubtely prog. In their own words, they're a blend of The Residents, Primus, Tom Waits, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Frank Zappa and Aksak Maboule. They're not wrong. Here is their Myspace page. Not much to say at this time; other than I've just started listening (and unfortunately will have to stop soon) and am enjoying it very much. Good suggestion. EDIT: I'll mention your thread to the RIO/Avant team. ------------- Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me. |
