Hello,
We posted three of our 8 songs on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/rubiconmetal - www.myspace.com/rubiconmetal . We're a melodic metal band with interests in progressive and power metal. We also have some elements of extreme metal in our music. Our vocals are all multi-layered female singing. Like us or slam us, we're looking for exposure. Thank you for your time.

I've been through the three songs on MySpace and it's certainly far from bad. I always have a problem judging how progressive a metal band is - which is a criterion for inclusion in PA - so I'll gladly leave that to our Prog Metal Team. For me, it's impressive to hear what three (or more) geographically spread muscians can do in terms of remote recording. Very well done production wise, even at MySpace quality. Shondra is a great singer - I wonder if she's doing all vocals on Sidreal Journey? She's singing from a bed of sound, that's for sure. The guitar and drums dominate, on my PC I have to listen very carefully to find the bass most of the time, even on headset. Of the three tracks, I think I like Orion most musically speaking, with it's varying tempo, and the piano break in the middle. Sidreal Journey is right on par with that, but with more exiting/layered vocal parts.
