Hawkwind's 40th anniversary celebration dates are in Notting Hill at the end of August... just down the road from where it all started in 1969, when they played as Group X.

They're playing the Porchester Hall on 28th & 29th of Aug, but the latter one is just about sold out, I believe.

TOUR: Apr and May venues so far confirmed: Bolton, Buxton, Edinburgh, Holmfirth, Liverpool and York. All northern dates, so far .Ouch

...and the little matter of it being a different band  Shocked

The Hawklords Roundhouse 8 March show was a Nik Turner event, and presumably was going to operate along the lines of one of his SpaceRitual events. However, I gather it didn't take place, due to Turner having injured his back.

Update...

hawkwind.com says both of the Porchester Hall shows (Aug, London) are now sold out.

And Hawkwind have added St Albans to their Apr-May tour schedule: May 9th. That's the only southern UK date so far!

Yep: shame about the Roundhouse bash getting cancelled.  There is, however, a 2 day event in Suffolk with Nik Turner and Space Ritual headlining.  Looking at the website the rest of the line-up looks really good too.  A right mixture Wacko
