Any venue details Tuz, a link perhaps? Is it part of a tour or a one off?

It seems it's the first gig of a tour. I can't find any details though. 14.03 they're gonna play in Sala Kongresowa ( http://www.kongresowa.pl - http://www.kongresowa.pl - in Polish only though).

EDIT: and I'm affraid the tickets are already sold out.

My congratulations, BartekClap

I hope you'll post some report after the show.

By the way, I followed your link and feel good envy: besides Omega there are concerts of my favourite Polish bands, Czerwone Gitary (February 21) and Budka Suflera (February 14). Do you plan to see at least one of them?

I don't like Czerwone Gitary. I liked Budka Suflera but they really sold out now. Dead As for the report I'll see to it. Wink
And to whoever keeps changing the title of this thread: I said I'm affraid the tickets are sold out but I'm not sure! Maybe there still are some available!

It's pity you don't like Czerwone Gitary Cry, only few bands in the world (Omega in their number) have so many memorable and beautiful melodies. I agree 2004 album "Jest" by Budka Suflera is a disaster, but their live concerts are great in my opinion. Honestly I listen their double CD "Live at Carnegie Hall" more often than Purple's "Made in Japan" LOL. Though it's only a matter of taste.

I wish you to have a good time on Omega show!

Thank you! Big smile

BTW, my favourite Budka Suflera song:

Great song, I love it too!
Though if I'll name all good Budka Suflera songs, the list will be long. Smile

Song for song - here is my favourite (love QUIDAM interpretation as well) - "Jest taki samotny dom"

Bartek, please think again of visiting Budka Suflera concert, believe me the band sounds great live and plays really good songs!

When I was very young (about 11 years old) I was taken to a place for difficult youth. It was called a sanatorium. I felt really lonely and out of place in there (I've got the Tourette's disease which wasn't really known in Poland back then). There was one housemaster who played the guitar and taught us to sing Czerwone Gitary's songs. So now, when I hear a Czerwone Gitary's song it brings the memories...
My parents took me out of there eventually on their request 'cos they felt it wasn't the right place for me.

I can understand you, Bartek.

Living with their music from my school days in the 70s till now, I have better memories of Czerwone Gitary. Soviet TV showed concerts of Sopot-77 festival and songs "Niebo z moich strong" and especially "Nie spoczniemy" became big hits in our country. Sometimes it was possible to buy some Muza label's LPs in our stores, so Czerwone Gitary were popular in former USSR. They are still popular here, though mostly among people who are 40 - 60 years old now.

I think Omega are trying to outlive  the Stones!  they`ve been at it for 47 years this September! They`re as old as I am ! At least they were never into drugs and as far as I`m concerned they`re 1000 times better than the Stones! Laszlo Benko is old enough to be my father!

They`ve got a few shows shceduled this year. Just go to their official website which is linked in their section here on PA. It`s in Hungarian but the concert dates are pretty obvious.

Where? Confused The only dates I see on their front page are the dates of the listed forum topics.
