Hi All,

I just received Ghost Circus' 2006 release Cycles from Prog Rock Records and I was surprised to see that they aren't included on the site.  I did a search and did not see that they have been previously suggested or included on Prog Freak, so I apologize if they have been previously evaluated and I just missed it.

Here is a link to a couple of threads previously started by Big Boss discussing the bands being signed to Prog Rock Records and the release of their 2nd album Across the Line.

I don't think that they are heavy enough to be prog metal, but possibly they might fit in with the Heavy Proggers.  I am kind of leaning towards crossover, but I would be grateful if the Heavy Proggers would give them a listen too and see what they think.

Thank you,

Scott

Thanks Jared.  I haven't really figured out the boundaries of Heavy Prog yet.  They may not be HP worthy, but I don't think that I am way off base with at least having your team give them a listen.  If I were a betting man however, my money would probably be on Crossover.

I was wondering how you guys got Raff to come back and run the HP team.  Apparently, you have her tied up.

Anyway, just opened the Ghost Circus MySpace page. I should be able to tell you something in a while.

Thank you Jared and the HP team for giving them a listen.  I'm not surprised with your decision since I was leaning towards Crossover as well.  I am glad that you have helped to confirm that opinion.
