Metal Mind Productions is proud to announce the release of the first live DVD by the Finnish progressive rock band Overhead.

Overhead plays melodic progressive rock that varies from gentle ambient atmospheres, through  more traditional rock to heavier moments. Already the band’s debut album “Zumanthum”, released in 2002 by Mellow Records, caught the attention of prog rock fans. Satisfied with its reception, the band started to play more gigs and to write material for the follow-up. The second album “Metaepitome”, released in 2005 by French label Musea, was well received around the world. “Metaepitome” gained excellent reviews and was acclaimed as ‘the album of the month’ by many magazines, webzines and radio stations. Overhead has played live in many rock clubs around Europe and at such festivals as the Eclipsed Festival (Germany), ProgResiste Convention (Belgium), Prog'Sud (France), Slottsskogen Goes Progressive (Sweden), pROCKfest (Germany), and Montreux Prog Nights (Switzerland). The much anticipated third album “And We're Not Here After All” was released in September 2008, also by Musea. The album is a very personal and introspective trip into the most basic of human instincts - the will to live. Needless to say, it has its share of ecstatic highs and desperate lows, all neatly wrapped up in a single album full of atmospheric rock.

In late 2008 Overhead was invited by Metal Mind Productions to perform at the first edition of the Progrock festival, which took place in mid February 2009 at the beautiful Wyspiański Theater in Katowice, Poland.

Live photos taken at the show by Marta Tłuszcz can be seen here:

The bonus material will also include live recordings from France,  Belgium and Finland filmed between 2007-2008, an interview with the singer Alex Keskitalo and much more! Metal Mind Productions plan to release "Live After All" DVD in early July. Full info to follow soon!

It'll be interesting to see the Semifinal footage, hope they were filming the band and not the front row with me in it...

Ha! Now that I look closer, I was at that Versailles gig as well LOL
