According to http://progfreak.com/home/progarchives.xhtml - Progfreak's site , the U.S. band Altered State is listed here. I don't believe that is so. The is a Japanese band called Altered States, but that's not the same band.
Altered State deserves to be here. They had two albums releases by Warner Brothers, and their second album, Dos, happens to be one of my favorite albums ever. Period. And Gregory Martel may be one of the greatest lyricists on the planet.
For some sample songs, there are some available at their http://www.myspace.com/alteredstatedos - MySpace page . But if you can, try to find Where's Harrison Ford? or I'm Thinking Of Moving To A New Catatonic State. Then look for your socks. Thanks! Hmmm...it seems ProgFreak lists them as "already added", not "approved"...and you're right, they're not here, only their Japanese namesakes... I'll inform both Heavy and Avant teams, hopefully this mess will be sorted out soon. |
