Here played over here [UK] solo on the G3 tour with Satriani & Vai. To be honest his was a very boring set. Sat on a stool making just what appeard to be noises from his guitar synth. Most people headed back to the bar so don't expect anything special

those noises are called soundscapes and if you would listen carefully you would hear that there's much more harmony, melody and emotion than in any Satriani or Vai compositions

Saw Fripp solo a few times on his Frippatronics tour... years ago.  I know what to expect. Its sort of enlightening.. to say the least.  He's always played while sitting on a stool... even with the original King Crimson.

I'm only telling it as I saw it. People soon got bored & headed for the bar. The chatter at the bar revealed this. In fact the arena was mostly empty until Vai came on!
