most of the stuff by today is the day changed metal in the 90's

I'm just shocked how so many people can say dream theatre put out some of the best albums in the 90's. What am I listening or not when I hear that band? seriously, I don't get it!

Well most of the time I either talk about prog, classic rock or metal, so for this I'm gonna pick one fo my favorite albums that doesn't fit into those categories that came out in the 90's.

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness - The Smashing Pumpkins. released in 1995.

I love this album to death. Everything about it is so well crafted and beautiful. Great lyrics, great musicianship. This album really connected to me. To steal some one elses words, its the wall for generation x.

For me: Moonshine by Collage, hands-down. I've been in love with this one since its release and still am. It's such an album that make you fall from one jaw drop into the other. Such an amazing line up of songs. One of the very few albums that truly gets me excited with each listening. Goosebumps and butterflies Heart

This is fairly easy for me.  Amarok!

If you want a non-prog contribution, Tom Petty's Into the Great Wide Open.

Yes, love it. I actually removed it just because i thought three albums by one band was too much.
