I like the Jeff Beck approach - stick your mother's knitting needle into your amp's speaker Tongue

All pedals "simulate"

I have used various pedals and have not found any that are better than what I am currently using- a virtual amp. They cost not much more than a couple of the more expensive pedals. Using the VA has also allowed me to throw away my amp. The VA just goes straight in the mixer. And I have had plenty of other players scratch their heads in wonderment after plugging in, wondering why they forked out all their money for an amp.

My overdrive is Electro-Harmonix English Muff'n. It has tubes in it, and sounds great!

I have a Danelectro "Daddy O" mounted on my Pedal Train. I also have a Boss "Blues Driver".
