On Saturday we had the immense pleasure of seeing the boys from TPT perform in front of a huge, enthusiastic audience at the Lorely Night of the Prog festival.  I thought it was an absolutely superb gig at a breath-taking venue.  Sound and set were spot on, the sun-shine was hot and the beer was very cold.

We bumped into Bruce about an hour before the set and to be honest we were worried.  He looked like death warmed up after the previous night's excess alcohol.  But we needn't have worried; another hour, a hair-of-the-dog (or two) and the crowd must have revived him as he and the boys played superbly.

Here's a few highlights in and around the set, as usual the full set and pics of all of the other bands at my MySpace site:  http://www.myspace.com/NeilPalfreyman - http://www.myspace.com/NeilPalfreyman

Bruce forgoes the sound-check in favour of a beer-check!

What a venue!

A good sized crowd - a couple of thousand maybe for the Thief!

The usual suspects on the front row!

It was great to see the band playing in the kind of venue and in front of the kind of numbers that there music deserves and it was a really nice touch for Bruce to come down and acknowledge the travelling fans at the end of the set!
