Which is your favourite Klaus Schulze album and why? I know this is a tough choice.

I'll go with Mirage.  As for why, it was the first album I heard of his, and proved to be a remarkable experience.

prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer

I have too few KS albums but of the ones I do have Moondawn is numero uno, especially the remastered version. Man, who needs drugs, this album has it all. Incredible builds to frenzied mad blissSmile

I have heard nothing from Klaus Schulz, but in a music store in town I saw a very interesting looking album from him about the Nibelung Ring (Rheingold - Live at Loreley). However, I looked up the reviews from this album and they weren't very good, so I didn't consider buying it (besides, it's rather expensive). So, is it really such a bad album, or would it be worth getting?

Timewind. One of the few albums that sounds like the album name and cover art.

Maybe because I'm old...and was in my 20's already when it came out...and I saw the XXX rated movie...I always loved the Body Love: Original Filmmusic a lot...but then I also love Timewind, Moondawn, X, Mirage...all great albums worth to get f'sure
