Any other Proggers out there with long memories who recall this Progressive Electronic duo? They recorded three albums in the late 1970's, the first one in the same year as Jean Michel Jarre's debut Oxygene. Their sound was in fact very similar to Jarre's early analog albums, but with the added attraction of real drums, giving their music a lot of muscle at times.
(another Jarre connection: the Space Art team played alongside Jean Michel on his China tour)

and a pair of 12" singles: Melodie Moderne/Nous Savons Tout, 1978
Symphonix, 1981
At one time I owned their first two albums, and still have the 1978 single, which sounds not unlike a Richard Pinhas / Heldon track adapted for some sort of heavy electronic disco (!)

This band released some of the best progressive electronic music of all time and definitely need to be on the archives.

thanks for the suggestion. Space Art sounds like Kingsley / Leuter's kitschy space age orchestrations but without the funny groovy moves. It's not so far from J.M.J (early works) who is included in the prog-related section but due to the arrangements and instrument manipulations it tends to be slightly better. I'm not opposed to an addition for the progressive electronic subgenre. I can add them very soon. If some of you want to collaborate on this one, just tell me. -------------
