Hey everybody, please excuse that this is my first post but i was excited to stumble upon this site while at work.  For the past year my band's been writing tirelessly and we recently just finished mastering our first ep 2 weeks ago.  i'm really excited about it and i feel like we have a solid up-beat/ambient take on prog.

I would appreciate some feedback from you guys. This forum definitely feels like the type of audience we're trying to reach out to.  Our name is "North End" and we play out of West Chester, Pa.  We ultimately decided to go the instrumental route because we couldn't find a singer who totally fit our style.  We rather our listeners appreciate the raw music rather than force some vocals.

our myspace is:

http://www.myspace.com/northendbandpa - www.myspace.com/northendbandpa

there are only 4 finished tracks posted on there but anybody who digs it i can certainly send you the entire recording.

thanks for your time everybody, hope you like it

-Marcus

Good energy there! Nice changes in tempo. Stratosphere has some very Yes-like guitar work in it. Very well done.

I've listened to two tracks, great music!

What kind of singer are you expecting? (No, I'm not applying, just curious Big smile)

Listening as we speak.

I'm liking the track Stratosphere, some nice changes in tempo and interesting effects in there. The other tracks were a bit less interesting on first listening.

Hope you find a vocalist. I think it would add to your sound

I really like this.

I really really hope you manage to get a vocalist sorted. There's more than enough scope to do something really quite outstanding and your sense of melody as an ensemble would lend itself perfectly to some epic epic vocals.

Great playing! Congratulations.
