Have you heard of Hacride? http://www.hacride.com%5b/url - http://www.hacride.com They are a French heavy metal band, formed in 2001 with musicians coming from an array of different bands, musical interests and genres. Their sound has progressed from the raw extremes and ludicrous time signatures of technical death metal to one that is becoming more and more progressive and alternative with every take. They have not toured extensively in the UK yet, but are coming over in October for two dates: the first in Alton (2nd) and the second in Camden Purple Turtle (3rd). The support in Alton is Fell Silent http://www.myspace.com/fellsilent%5b/url - http://www.myspace.com/fel Supporting the gigs on both nights is a collection of great underground bands too, all from the Hampshire area. They keep getting better with each release, I really enjoyed the "Lazarus" album they released this year.. |

These guys are great. They are playing the Progpower Europe festival this year alongisde many toher greta bands including Enochian Theory (my cousins band).
