Anyone here to be at the show this week-end? What are you expecting?

It would be hard not to be anxious about Gentle Giant's coming.

For those of you who were there, the week-end was quite memorable. You could always check the FMPM website for a complete listing of the bands but I'll just mention a word about two almighty bands: Le Orme and Gentle Giant (now better known as Three Friends in the actual formula).
 
Le Orme's prestation was quite astounding given the fact they are not that young anymore. Miki the drummer was particularly in shape, giving momentum to the prestation and stimulating the audience with some nice funny moments and irresistable collective hand clapping. We must mention the absolutely sublime voice of Aldo. If you were as much seducec by him as I were hearing him on disc, the magic was even better live. And finally, I hope the keyboard player is earning a decent salary because the guy was way too much exploited (not that I disliked Big smile). I don't know if he had a single moment to relax except between the songs. He was even able to bring me to like guitar-keyboard.
 
As for Three Friends, I'll skip a long post. Their reputation speaks for them. The timing, presence on stage and everything else about them was there I think. I would have thought Kerry was to play more keyboard parts but still, he was a very able player. Gary even promised to come back. I hope it was not words in thin air.
