Do other people consider the excellent band Spooky Tooth as prog rock?

I think they were one of the early creators of the genre, especially the superb 'Spooky Two' rom 1969,which really is one of the best of the era, and 'Ceremony' was one of the most daring albums of the time as it fused heavy progressive rock with electronic musique concrete.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Spooky Tooth - a fine band but more blues than prog on the album I heard (Spooky 2).

They certainly had a big sound though, and you've got to pay attention to any group that could call an album 'You broke my heart, so I busted your jaw'

Superb band, without a doubt (especially to sad Hammond lovers like me ).

Not Prog, though.
