I really don't know if Damon has already been discussed here, but I've been listening to his latest release "Vultures & Sheep" and his stuff is amazing. I don't know in which genre this guy should go, due to his incredible broad sound...

Anyway, here's his myspace:

In case you're wandering about his last name, yeah this guy is Phil Shulman's son LOL

I recommend giving some guidance as to what tracks may be of help to deciding if there is merit to this suggestion ...

Ok, from the myspace site check out Vultures & sheep, is some kind of folk-rock song with recorder, mandolin, acoustic guitar, organ & some other stuff. Also check out Just another day, which has a very Transatlantic-ish intro and then follows a more standard hard rock direction. While we're in flight reminds a me a little of Echolyn, especially the piano lines.

And check out this youtube videos, also available in the myspace site:

Telead

This song is from his second record, A brief moment of panic, which features a weird mix of styles, some rap, latin jazz at 00:54 followed by a very Gentle Giant-ish guitar solo and instrumental section.

Soul Seeks Rebellion

I don't know what to say about this song, it's just amazing. If this ain't prog, I don't know what the hell prog is LOL

I'll break your heart

Beautiful ballad
