I have a question in regard to the posting of links.

What is the policy legal and otherwise in posting links,i remember some time ago posting a link to a site, this link was then removed,i can only assume there was some violation of a rule i was not aware of here,i assume that links to illegal download sites are not allowed(and of course linking to porn sites and such im sure is forbidden) but im curious as to the policy on  links.what do we need to be aware of?

Thanks in advanceSmile

Links to fileshares, torrents, or links to sites and blogs containing such links are strictly forbidden and will be removed as soon as we see them. Links to anything illegal will get snipped, and links to anything immoral or downright offensive will could get snipped too (it is M@X stated intention that the PA is a family site, open to all age groups)

We are not experts on international law and copyright law so will often err on the side of caution when there is some doubt to the legality of a link as it is the site that will be punished, not the person who posted the link.

I sometimes remove spam links, scam-links, gold-farming links and links that my anti-malware programs flag as dubious - though generally I'll delete the whole post or thread in those cases.

But if you think a link has been unfairly removed then PM an Admin and we'll look into it.

What?
