Either Britney knows her Tool, or some dogey plagerists have given her something intellectual to read, or...
Coincidence?
I THINK NOT! Tongue

Glad to be the first to get it in the open. Or did you just have a hunch about Britney's real musical interests? LOL

I would seriously doubt she has anything to do with a progressive metal band...

I am a bit skeptical as the video is unintelligible and that's the only source I can find saying this happened.

If it's real though I am overjoyed.

I'd imagine that the source is from someone who was at the actual performance. Like half the comments about them being at the "Godney" concert. That's where this whole story really gets funny.
And yes, PA has reached new discussion heights. I thank you.

Tool are probably the most popular progressive rock band formed in the 1990s and definitely one of the few to have this much mainstream acceptance, so I don't think it's completely unlikely.

She must be a fan of Tool, she did marry Kevin Federline.

PS, Toaster, I don't know if I ever told you this, but your signature cracks me up every time I see it.

She make "like" them...but I'm pretty sure if she does it's just because they are cool.

She wouldn't be the only one of course, I bet we all know a few people that "love" Tool but really don't know sh*t, just Tool is cool and alternative...

This is the first rumblings of the new revolution. It's said in the prophecy that Spears shall inherent the mantle of the pretentious, the sword of bold and the crown on progressive. The new suite is upon us.

But yeah, she probably just got the lyrics from some cynical roadie.

I dont find it unlikely at all that she likes Tool.

After all she is living from making music, so no doubt she listen to a lot of it.
Why should she not like good music ?

Britney and Tool have one huge thing in common - they both used to have the #1 position on the Billboard 200. So it's nothing strange at all.
