Marillion are to shine new light onto our songs when we present them live in an acoustic format in Autumn 2009.

We will be selecting songs, some of which we have never performed acoustically, giving them new arrangements and a new edge.

This tour is in support of a new Studio acoustic album due for release in the Autumn 2009.

This Album is be made up of new acoustic arrangements of songs from our vast back-catalogue of music All five members of the band are looking forward to this chance to showcase the essence of our songs in this alternative, intimate and exciting format.

I got it and I was actually fairly disappointed. It's not horrible, but I much prefer the originals.

Very disappointing and not a little dull.

I think all of the originals are better than these blanded out versions - for all their talk of interesting and experimental instrumentation.

How they can take the awesome 'Out of This World' and make it into a tuneless monotonic dirge I do not knowThumbs Down.

Conversely, the original of 'If My Heart Were A Ball' was awful but somehow they've made it worse - in fact, H's horrendously strained vocals make this version unlistenable.

And the new song 'It's Not Your Fault' is laughably poor. Well 'laughable' if I hadn't shelled out nine quid for an album I'm unlikely ever to play again. Angry

Marillion have been losing it for the last few years and this is the last album of theirs I will buy without listening to it first.

This album actually brought me back to Marillion.
I thought that HITR was quite a bore. The kind of album you would listen to if you were on heroin Wink & Marbles (witch so many loved) ,I did not like (with the exception of "The Invisible Man" . "Neverland" & "Ocean Cloud") . "Somewhere Else" was just ok.

Let's face it, I doubt if they will ever reach the "H" status of the masterpieces "Brave" & "AOS" ever again......
