Hi all,

Submitting the Estonian group TNVVNüM for your consideration.

http://www.tnvvnum.com/images/fullband.jpg - Band shot
http://www.youtube.com/TNVVNUMdotcom - YouTube
http://www.myspace.com/tnvvnum - MySpace

Ekke Västrik - Guitars
Mihkel Maasing - Organ/Synth
Martin Peiken - Bass
Oliver Koit - Drums
Cameron Devlin - Engineering & Production

The band has just released their 2nd album, "Ouroboros", currently available via download at iTunes, eMusic or at our own site at http://download.tnvvnum.com - download.tnvvnum.com , where not only can you get the album in a variety of higher quality formats (including 320k mp3, FLAC & Apple Lossless) but you can also hear both the new album and the 2007 debut "Säde" in their entirety, streaming for free. I would be happy to give any staff members some free download codes if they'd prefer to hear the music at a higher quality than the stream, just shoot me a PM. CDs are currently being printed and will be available for shipping before December.

My guess at catagory would be Psych/Space Rock but I'll leave it to you guys to decide.

A (reasonably) short biography:

In the Autumn of 2006, a group of young musicians came together to experiment with music. After many members coming and going, a steady band began to emerge. Sven Oesleg on bass, Ekke Västrik on guitar, Mihkel Maasing on synth, Oliver Koit on drums and Tanel Velleste on percussion. In December 2007, this group - now going by the name Tõele Näkku Vaadates Võib Näha Ükskõik Mida (meaning Facing The Truth You Can See Anything) - recorded their debut album Säde. Unfortunately, despite good reviews and regular airplay, heavy promotion was not possible following an injury to the drummers leg and the departure of bassist Sven Oesleg. After several months in limbo, Västrik, Maasing & Koit came together to continue what they had begun. Martin Peiken took over on bass, and the focus was on writing new material.

By the start of 2009, Tanel Velleste had moved onto his own projects, but the remaining quartet decided to push on with recording a second album featuring the new material they had been gigging. British sound engineer Cameron Devlin, having recently moved to the country, was found on a musicians forum looking for work and was brought on board as full time sound engineer and producer - recording, mixing and mastering the album as well working the desk at live shows.

The new album, Ouroboros, is the culmination of all the changes, contradictions and experiences that TNVVNüM have gone through and foreshadows their march to the unknown future.

Thanks all, looking forward to your thoughts, positive or otherwise Smile

~Cameron Devlin

Thanks, Cameron.  I'm giving the myspace page a listen for my pleasure now.  It's good, and I'll mention it to the psych team.

Wonderful, thank you Damo and the rest of the team.

The biography I gave in the first post is probably good enough for us but I can talk to the other members and see if they'd like to consider re-writing it, or did you want to write it yourselves? Discography is as on http://download.tnvvnum.com - download.tnvvnum.com .
