Great duo (David labuschagne aka Mojo & Rob Greaves aka Ras) from the late 70s. I only have two albums ,1977's Dance of the Spheres and 1981's Tranceformer (Under the Krozier & The Generator moniker). So if the electronic team is interested just send me a pm. I've often heard them called "Australia's first true electronic group" even before Cybotron....if that means anything.

Other than that, I can say that their discog is extensive. They've gone through many names (such as: The Generator, Krozier and the Generator, etc). And having the pleasure to talk with one the members, Rob Greaves, I found out that he's been re-releasing every thing he and Mojo have done since the mid 70s. Which comes to almost 30 studio/live combined. Sooo....

No problem -- it's a very cool album, and one I'd like to see included in PA.

It's been approved for Rainbow Generator, but there is the various project names consideration (I've only heard that Rainbow generator album btw).  Would you like to prepare the addition (bio, band photo, and then album details)?  If you do it I'd be happy to add it under your username, otherwise I could prepare it myself (I think I'd have the opportunity to do so tonight if it were just for Rainbow Generator).

The complication is the various names/ projects -- perhaps we could start with Rainbow Generator itself rather than adding "Rainbow Generator/ Krozier & the Generator..." . (but I'll leave that to Electronic Prog to decide on).

Sure, I'll try my best. Yeah is does get a little confusing after a while! Besides, being able to talk to one of the members will make things easier in the way of sorting out just Rainbow Generator stuff.

By the way I can send you guys a "catalog" that Rob Greaves sent me, if you want to buy any of Rainbow Generator's (an their other incarnations) cds. They are bit pricey, but I'm guessing its worth it.

Oh and I wittled all of their releases down to the ones with the Rainbow Generator name. But what I found out was, under that name, they only released one studio album in 1977 (Dance of the Spheres). There are, however, about nine compilation releases under that name.

So for the time being, after I write the bio, I will add their only studio album. At a later point I will try to add the nine compilations. The problem is I don't know the track info on those comps. So I'll have to ask Rob and see if he can provide it.

Thanks, I'd appreciate the catalogue, though I'd rather buy the records than CDs but those would be pricier still, and rateyoumusic has various incarnations listed (checked that out earlier).  Rateyourmusic has just the one Rainbow Generator release listed (the Dance of the Spheres studio album: http://rateyourmusic.com/artist/rainbow_generator - http://rateyourmusic.com/artist/rainbow_generator Interesting about the 9 compilation releases under that name.

Anyway, your plan sounds good to me (you might want to pass a PM onto the resident Progressive Electronic and Krautrock guru Philippe), but you can PM me if you like when you're done with the bio so that I can add it for you, then add the studio album.  Expect you would anyway, but would want to mention the various projects in the bio even if we just start with Rainbow Generator.

Thanks again!
