Just read the news on the ProgressiveEars forum, where everyone was waiting for the announcement. Ultimate Zero Project is the latest project by prog veteran Eddie Jobson, including music from UKZ, his solo work, and his more famous bands. It seems the set will feature mainly instrumental music played by a 'revolving set of virtuoso musicians'. When we saw Eddie last summer in DC, he had Trey Gunn playing his Warr guitar (utterly spectacular), as well as two incredible drummers, Simon Phillips (no need for an introduction) and Marco Minnemann, who is now playing with Italian Tech-Extreme band Ephel Duath. If their set is half as good as the one we saw last June (in spite of the ear-shattering volume), we're in for a treat!

Anyway, for further information on lineup, tickets (the Patron Program goes online next week, on January 21), and everything else, here's the link to the NEARfest website:

yeeah...  that Eddie Jobson show last summer was killer.  Hell... my ears are still ringing from it hahah.

Good excuse to load up on Newcastles again....  so who is going this year.

Who can pass up a chance to rub shoulders and argue with Ivan in the flesh, drown in the sight of Raff's beauty, or if really brave....get sh*tfaced with the Big Mick!
