How many hours do you sleep daily? Please make it an average (I know we don't sleep the exact amount of hours every day). Also, please keep it real. Don't need no flashy displays of power with people saying they sleep only 1 hour a day (unless you really do it, in which case I strongly suggest going to a doctor...)

Early to rise, early to bed, makes a man healthy but socially dead.

7-8, but lately 5-6 with the newborn.

7-8 at the very least, occasionally even more... I do like my sleepLOL!

5-7, although not by choice. If I am not woken up/do not need to get up I try to get about 9, although 7 or 8 hours is fine.

7-8, mainly because of school. Before exams I aim for 10 for the whole week before.

You know what ? Let's see. Now is 00:33 (half a hour after midnight), so we'll see :-)

However, I go to bed, but before I sleep, I usually play mobile games (mostly sudoku, battleships, space invaders, pacman or these things), they tire me quite a lot and then I have nice sleep.

So it's tricky. I'll try to capture the time though. Proper time.

Actually, 00:39 and I'm leaving you, PA, world of awakeness and go sleep.

Good Night to everyone.

5-7 on a good night. It's currently 1am in the UK, and I need to be up before 6am so better log out soon Unhappy

I'm going to say 5-7 because of school, maybe more, but I have a tendency to stay up all hours of the night and sleep past noon. I try to get to sleep on school nights before ten, but I rarely make that goal because I'll stay up texting. Shame on me.

8-9, but not at the right times. I often will only sleep 4-7 hours because of work or school, but then I'll get a serious nap in when I get home. I can't get by for long on less than that.

After I left the first college I attended for a year and got an apartment, I had this problem where I slept in sixteen hour cycles.  I'd sleep 16, be awake 16, and so on.

Most of the times (as my wife will attest), I could not be stirred.

Sleeping was a misery though.  I'm glad I somehow got over it after a few months.

5-7 would be my average, I use to sleep between 12-1am, and get up at 6am almost everyday.

Probably 5-7 would be a good estimate.

10:21 here, well, that makes 9 hours of sleep today.

I mean from time to time, mostly 5-7, to make all these things I do. To be able to do them, I need time and so because I don't like sleeping, I don't sleep much. Mostly. Not today (misfire)

Then you spend the most part of your waking time listening to music and writing reviews, with an average of about four reviews a day since you joined this forum! Clap

Back in high school I used to manage with about five or six hours a night (and eleven in the weekend) but nowadays I need at least seven, preferably eight. I'm getting old.

In addition, I've tried to cheat, go to sleep in 01:10 (exactly) and set alarm clock on 06:00, but instead, I woke up at 08:00 and then again (finally) in 10:00. I'll try this today.

As you once said The T, you are along for too long, so only interesting topics can amuse / interest you. This is a good one. Original, as also I was interested. Now, it's my turn to come with completely stupid poll.

I'm not able to calculate my average - my sleeping schedule is total mess. During the week, 3-5 hours, on weekends,  up to 14 hours, even more. But there are too many exceptions.
