Well, my thread in the Unsigned Band forums was neglected before, talking about this incredibly awesome progressive metal band...but now they have means of mass distribution through iTunes, so...

Out of my sheer curiosity, how long does it usually take for a band to be "accepted" into the Progarchives?

We have a bit of a backlog at the moment ( with if I´m counting correctly over 200 acts that are waiting to be evaluated just for the three metal subs), so it might take a while. We´ll get there eventually though. The most important thing is that the band is now added to the chart ( I´ve given a yes vote BTW). It might seem frustratingly long but we try to give every artist enough listens to be sure they will fit PA. In a, so two to go) . In addition to that we are all voluanteers who do this as a hobby in our spare time between work, school and family.

Too bad their top influence on MySpace are a bunch of sellouts.
