If you saw my poll of my favorite Jazz Rock albums, this was one of them.

I'm curious which is the favorite track of everyone, though I'm really not expecting more than 5 votesOuch

A very good album. A shame it's so underrated on this site We'll see the outcome of the poll...

My favourite is The Epic of course.

I'll vote for ''(Cross the) Heartland'', it's so uplifting and fabulous. Close second is the title track.

Quite interestingly, I listened to it hours ago, and it deeply influenced me to say that early Metheny can be really, really dissapointing. Both "PM Group" albums were especially not my cup of tea.

Oh really? I find both, the debut and American Garage to be fantastic albums, but that's probably due to that my father used to play them a lot when I was a kid.

I have this album on vinyl, but haven't been able to listen to it (it's at my parent's house).  I should check out those videos you've posted tomorrow.  I'm pretty tired now and should get to bed.

I want this album. I've got a few PMG releases, and I think several of them are great. This one seems to be a perfect mix for me. Only I haven't found it yet.

I echo this completely, based off of one listen.

No, I'll have to get it.

I do have Offramp and First Circle though (and the Way Up, which I've already heard).

I don't think my dad has First Circle, but Offramp is pretty good, but I haven't listened to it very much to give a proper opinion.

Based on 1 listen only...

1. Offramp
2. American Garage
3. First Circle

All of them were wonderful though.
