This Swiss band, a project of drummer Daniel Spahni, seems to be a relatively clear fit for RIO/Avant. So far, they've released 3 albums: A Ban in 1992, Contredanses in 2003 and Procès Verbal in 2007. Just listened to it, I think it's a "Yes".
At least it depended on the songs. Some were pretty similar to ÉFL Poumons-era, others like Contredanses were definitely a good fit for here. Some were good, but somewhat repetitive. But I think it's a "Yes". I'll let you know

I've been listening to some albums on his website today, from what I've heard this band is a yes (IMO) and his other bands are a clear no.
