Compagnie Des Arts: Détour (2009). RIO/chamber music (I don't know if it is correct in english). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1GBfTv63gc - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1GBfTv63gc http://www.notesenstock.net/NES/Accueil.html - http://www.notesenstock.net/NES/Accueil.html
Bio:
« La compagnie des
arts » is a french quartet composing and playing
contemporary music, with shows including dance. “Detour” has been
composed by guitarist Benoït ALBERT, for guitar, clarinet/bass clarinet,
violin/alto, oboe and English horn. It’s made of 14 short pieces
combining solis and “chamber orchestra” formula. It’s a melodious and
surprising music, full of lightness and dynamism, with “world”
influences from Eastern Europe or Argentina (tango…), around an
“impressionist”musical basis (DEBUSSY, RAVEL, FAURE, SATIE…).
Experimental, but generous and accessible in the same time: an excellent
album.

Excellent chamber music, but is it chamber rock? Though we have some similar chamber music groups such as Aranis in RIO/Avant, from what I've heard, adding this would be a stretch.
------------- Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I observed before. It can be much like that with music for me; immersed in experiencing the moment.
