When I refer to addiction is what it means... don't post only the things you like to do, but those things that you just can't stop doing... Ok...? maybe vote for that thing that you NEED to do at least once a day... this will be fun...

BTW: multivote available for those multi addicted persons like me... LOL

Listening to music is very important to me but not an addiction at all; it's a way of life. The Internet, however, is a powerful addiction without which my life would be much better. Tongue

1. Writing music
2. Listening to music
3. Posting in PA

I also enjoy video games, but wouldn't say I'm addicted.

Beer.  I love my beer.  Gimme a case of whatever, Pabst for all I care, and a few hours with Jethro Tull, or ELP, or KC.

The daughter and boyfriend were down for Easter.  I was listening to some music, drinking some beer.  We ended up listening to Thick As a Brick in all it's entirety.

Well for me, no.  For the boyfriend, he could've just walked out at about 24:37 into it.

I am addicted to following instructions.  Disapprove

Of this kind:

"To uncork, twist your arm in clockwise motion, putting pressure on your hand and your fingers.

To drink, put bottle's mouth next to yours, raise your arm until the bottle and your mouth create a 35* degree angle, and let the liquid in.

When bottle's contents are over, please repeat."

Well... I voted for reading books... that's something that I have to do each day... and if there's any around... it should be a magazine like National Geographic or somethink like that.... Videogames should be an addiction... but I can resist playing in a week, so, it's a potential addiction but not yet...

post count says it all Pinch

anyway - I'm "addicted" to whatever I am doing at the time - it's a failing and a curse, (though thankfully not OCD). When I was writing music I wrote 225 tracks (over 48 hours of music) in 3 years and have done nothing in the past 4 years, whatever is flavour of the week with me becomes the sole object of my attention until I become bored and move on to the next object of my distraction.

Have you ever tried cuing up A Passion Play to start 30 seconds before Thick as a Brick ends (right where the final acoustic guitar part starts)?  It's heaven. But then again, so is beer. Thumbs Up

Besides excessive amounts of nicotine and caffeine, I'm addicted to PA, and Internet in general. Aside from that: reading books and music (both listening and writing). Sex, walking, driving. Math. That's about it.

Ermm Listening to music, live music, reading, riding my motorcycle (dual sport), participating in a local dual sport forum & rding group, good beer, good food (both eating it and cooking it), being outside, nature, lovin', having a fire in my chimnea (with music & beer, natch!), whittling walking sticks, travel, toast, snacks, spider solitaire, Command & Conquer, buying songs/albums off I-tunes -- going to do the latter now (some folk).

I have been addicted to posting on PA in the past.  It wasn't one of my "favourite" addictions (often a source of stress, in fact), and hopefully (after recently taking a year off) I'm largely over that now.

I collect: books, CDs, coins & lapel pins.  Smile

Yeah, me and Captain Capricorn (Danial) got together with a drummer friend of mine for a little acid jazz/space rock jam. He's a good bass player, sounds kind of like Bill Laswell.

Agreed with Peter. This place USED to be one of my bigger addictions but as y'all know I have been on and off, at best. Mainly because, well yeah more stress than joy comes from here now.

Anyway, probably going to play video games and listen to music all day today, followed by beer drinking tonight!
But there's a play mixed in there I'll be seeing at least.
