Stefano Panunzi made an (IMO) absolutely gorgeous "solo" album, a Rose (2009). Beautiful, lush music which could be in neo or crossover..."solo" because the number of guests playing is enormous...and certainly prog...I searched for it, but there is no mention on this site anywhere...

I did a little screening on this one Alex since he is an Italian. Definitely not an RPI artist, but really very good. Surely a Porcupine Tree influenced artist but with flavors of stuff like Zuffanti's Rohmer project, modern spacey rock, ambient jazzy stuff, and the Wilson side projects/solo project. Since PT can be hard to classify I'm not sure where to suggest they start. Bump. What do you think Alex? I'm wondering if even eclectic isn't possible here with so many different styles being touched on. I have so much trouble classifying this kind of thing. Really nice though, we should get an eval started somewhere.
