Very interesting suggestion. I'll ask the Prog Folk team to evaluate it, thanks.

Good albums. The tracks "Mavri Thalassa" from the album "Vromiko Psomi" and "ballos" from the same titled albums are absolute classics. The style of the compostion of "Mavri Thalassa" (several separate melodies linked together to form one compostion) very much reminds me of Jethro Tull's "Thick As A Brick"

I noticed a Jethro Tull similarity too, which is surprising, considering that JT were probably not that popular by 1970.

Yes Ballos and Mavri thalassa are masterpieces. I'ts a pity that people don't know his music.
@ cacha71, you're Stefanos? Manager of PO?

@ Harmonium: Yes, I know, "Vromiko Psomi" was released a while before Thick As A Brick and I doubt there is any connection. Savvopoulos's predominant influence at this point was Bob Dylan.
@ Okacha: No, I'm not Stefanos. btw, I think that Peloma Bokiou could also be a candidate for this site, what do you think?
