One very interesting album is "Clearlight Symphony" by Clearlight. I have a few questions about it which I want to ask:
Do you know it? If not, you can listen to it here. Both parts had to be divided into 3 parts to fit on YouTube because of their length.
Part 1:

Part 2:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ5lqW6ZoAU&feature=related - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ5lqW6ZoAU&feature=related

Now the questions:
Do you like it or not? Explain why please.

Which part do you like better?

What do you think about the guitar playing on both sides?  Which guitar do you prefer?

And two trick questions for those who did not know the album:

There is a saxophone in one of the two parts. In which? Not easy to answer if you don't know.

In one part Steve Hillage plays guitar. In which? Another difficult question for those who don't know.

I greatly enjoy this title. I first discovered the group through a compilation LP titled Virgin....Various Artists. I have to go back and listen to it again to form an opinion. Forever Blowing Bubbles is another favorite of mine but, again I have to listen again.

I certainly enjoy this more than his Infinite Symphony release from '03, in which my main complaint is that "there isn't any there there"

thanks, I might just give old Cyrille another shot (should've known his first album would be better to start with)

I did enjoy this piece of music, though I only heard it once and can't remember which particular parts I liked better or what I thought about the guitar and sax, sorry. What I do remember is that there was a part at the middle of the first link that I didn't like so much, it was rather annoying for me. However, thanks for the links, I hope I find time to hear them again later.

Great project leaded by Cyrille Verdeaux including various Gong members, apart from Symphony i recommend Forever Blowing Bubbles (with participation of David Cross on violin) and Les contes du singe fou.

I recommend "Visions" too, with the help of Didier Malherbe of Gong on saxes and flute and Didier Lockwood of Magma on violin. Lockwood  plays on "Les Contes du Singe Fou" too, by the way

Do we need to send out simple guides to posting in the correct forum, or do the guidelines only apply to "other people"?
