Pugh's Place was late sixties/early seventies progressive rock/hard rock band from Holland. More biography and disocgraphy info is here: http://members.home.nl/gerser/dutchprog/pugh.htm - http://members.home.nl/gerser/dutchprog/pugh.htm
Their only studio album is called "West One"(1971). Music presented there is early 70s heavy prog in the vain of Deep Purple, Titanic or Birth Control but with plenty of flute solos a la Jethro Tull. I especially like their organ heavy version of "Drive Me Car" full of Hammaond and flute solos.

Some samples I've heard ... a good band with heavy core, psych hints and pop hoppin'.
Too poppy for Heavy IMHO but can Crossover take them out?

    Alex? Thumbs Up

I'm not convinced... but what conclusions can one draw based on just one YouTube sample? Seems like they're a really obscure band...
