Maybe "Prog metal" or "Heavy Prog"?

Here is part of the 13 minute track "Prizards":

Bio:

American Hollow brings a mix of progressive rock, metal, classic rock,
and Drum Corps to the stage in hopes of expanding their own musical
horizons as well as the listeners'.

The members of AH are continuing their sonic exploration, with hopes of
bringing their concoction to as many people as possible. The foundation
of American Hollow has always rested on the friendship of those involved
and a desire to transcend any boundary, whether external or internal.

Currently, the band of four has been writing new material in preparation
for a full length album and an upcoming summer tour. The album will be
out in May 2010, and shows in support of it will begin immediately
thereafter.
