For some last years Poland became country of origin for many world class prog metal bands, so I just trying to keep my eye on new releases from there.
Acute Mind debut is really strong album, especially for debut.

Of course I'm no metal expert, so take my opinion with a pinch of salt: Pretty standard symphish prog metal with an alternative rock (and melodic rock) influence. Sounds good to me for Prog Metal, and not good at all for jazz-rock fusion. ;) If it weren't so metal, I'd suggest it for Crossover (pretty mainstream sounding, and hardly experimental at all, but then that's common for bands in Prog Metal).
------------- Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

You're right - no even traces of jazz-rock fusion . And yes, I think not more experimental than any other prog metal band. But it's the rule of the genre!

Yeah they're a pretty crossover band (in a general sense of the word). Still I think they should be evaluated by the PMT first.
