Voted for And You And I, but honestly I've never cared much for either.

The Rain Song is like sunshine,it's so uplifting. And they even used mellotron on it.

I do enjoy both songs! But I have to vote for And You And I, my favourite song from my favourite prog album.

And you and I without a doubt, one of Yes's best songs (but they have so many best songs). Though I also like The Rain Song. Now if And You And I had been compared to Stairway to Heaven I might have had a hard time choosing, though I might have chosen the Yes song too.

I really like both of them, but only one is almost Yes' greatest achievement!

I won't hold the Mellotron against the song (I'm not a Mellotron fan), but The Rain Song unquestionably for me.  I much prefer Houses of the Holy to Close to the Edge.

Watching while most appreciating a sunset in the moment need not diminish all the glorious sunsets I have observed before. It can be much like that with music for me.

Yes will win this by a country mile, but I voted for The Rain Song, one of Zeppelin's finest moments, an album defining track in a way which And You & I wasn't (that being the title track). Damn close though.

Led Zepp are alright but very much not a prog band and that someone would compare them to Yes, it sickens me.

The Rain Song. No contest whatsoever, even though I love And You And I.

I vote for "And You and I." What mars "The Rain Song" for me is that the studio version of the song kinda sucks. (Am I the only one that can hear that some instruments are out of tune?) But the live version on "The Song Remains the Same" is simply heavenly. When I first started learning the guitar, one of my goals was to learn "The Rain Song" note-for-note (which I accomplished, oh, 20 years ago or so).

Never really like The Rain Song, even when Zeppelin was my favorite band...

I can't believe I hadn't weighed in on this matter of monumental importance.  For me The Rain Song is a close second.  I have a fond memory from a few years ago when the album was new to me and I was out driving.  The song came on as a heavy storm was moving in.  The rain started pouring down in the middle of the song. Cool
