Someone set a poll of Pat Metheny albums, but there are a lot of omissions....
I've tried to make a full discography poll... but 25 limit....
So I split albums with ECM era and Geffen Era....

I have most of these on vinyl, my vote goes to Watercolors. This is a great album by Metheny and crew. There are some very atmospheric tracks on this album. Kind of overlooked in the Metheny discog. ------------- Somewhere out of a memory of lighted streets on quiet nights... |

I've got all but three of these and the only one I haven't heard is Song X. I'm going for the one that introduced me to Pat - American Garage. Falcon and the Snowman, which I don't have, is an interesting movie. Good soundtrack work as I recall. ------------- Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Heard American Garage being played over a record shops main speakers, and bought it then and there - and It's stood the test of time.
