Polish band Appleseed played few weeks ago on Baltic Prog Fest - I noticed them there. They were founded in mid 00', first EP was released in 2006. Now they're preparing their debut album.

Band's music is strongly influenced by post-rock, and by early Riverside albums.Very melodic,melanholic,sometimes dark.

Hmm, it never goes metal in the samples. Maybe Crossover?

Alex,you're the best when we need to find the right place for the new band, so - Crossover is OK for sure.

Yeap, I'll head this to Crossover. It's neither Prog Metal, Post Metal or Post Rock, even though they draw influence from all of them. The cross over to mainstream is the first and most important feature IMO.

Yeh, I listen them live, and live sound was really heavier...

But the recordings are softer and more polished.
