Peter Hammill's Nadir's Big Chance track 8 called Airport seems to end abruptly without additional fade. Does your version do that? I have the iTunes 2006 Remaster version. The track length is 3:04. Thanks! |

| I have the japanese minilp sleeve cd and it ends like you say, but it's the same remastered version from 2006, so maybe with some other edition could help us. |

It sounds like the remaster is botched. Also, I have two seconds of air after the abrupt end. I would love to know if the original recording has this. |

Not a defect with your version. According to the remaster's sleeve notes. 'In this remastering I've attempted to smudge the ill-advised 'just cut the tape' ending which has bugged me almost from the moment I did it... it's still not elegant but it's not quite as abrupt' |

That is cool! I have heard songs from other groups that have cut the tape endings. That is one disadvantage buying from iTunes. However, they are starting to include digital booklets with new releases. |
