Peter Hammill's Nadir's Big Chance track 8 called Airport seems to end abruptly without additional fade. Does your version do that? I have the iTunes 2006 Remaster version. The track length is 3:04. Thanks!

I have the japanese minilp sleeve cd and it ends like you say, but it's the same remastered version from 2006, so maybe with some other edition could help us.

It sounds like the remaster is botched. Also, I have two seconds of air after the abrupt end. I would love to know if the original recording has this.

Mine is like that too, but it's the remaster so really I'm not helping you at all

Not a defect with your version. According to the remaster's sleeve notes.
'In this remastering I've attempted to smudge the ill-advised 'just cut the tape' ending which has bugged me almost from the moment I did it... it's still not elegant but it's not quite as abrupt'

That is cool! I have heard songs from other groups that have cut the tape endings. That is one disadvantage buying from iTunes. However, they are starting to include digital booklets with new releases.
