has anyone noticed that these are similar tracks? a) Band: Godspeed You Black Emperor Where: F#A# 00 track 3 Length: 29:02 Description: a helicopter blade swirling sound opens the track. A man talks about a preacher who predicts the end of the world and the falling state of america. The rest is an epic journey... b) Band: Sonic Youth Where: Daydream Nation track 8 Length: 2:41 Description: sounds of helicopter blades and a soft piano melody play, interrupted by a voice on a loudspeaker (much like the end of storm by GYBE) Conclusion: very similar pieces of music. The lengths are nothing near each other but the titles, feel of the tracks and use of helicopter blades are similar. Perhaps GYBE were inspirted by SY Thoughts? ------------- The Worthless Recluse
